Histosophia Dergisi, özgünlük, akademik dürüstlük ve etik yayıncılık uygulamalarını bilimsel iletişimin temel ilkeleri olarak kabul eder. Dergi; intihal, akademik usulsüzlük, mükerrer yayın ve hatalı veya eksik atıf gibi etik ihlallere karşı sıfır tolerans politikası benimser. Bu ilkeler doğrultusunda, Histosophia’ya gönderilen tüm makaleler hakem değerlendirme sürecinden önce rutin olarak intihal taramasına tabi tutulur.

1. İntihalin Tanımı

İntihal; başka bir kişiye ait entelektüel bir çalışmanın, uygun alıntı, atıf veya kaynak gösterimi yapılmaksızın kullanılarak kendi eseriymiş gibi sunulmasıdır. İntihal, hem metinsel hem de kavramsal düzeyde gerçekleşebilir ve kelimeler, cümleler, paragraflar, fikirler, araştırma soruları, yöntemler, veri setleri, bulgular, tablolar, şekiller, görseller veya diğer akademik materyalleri içerebilir.

Bu tür etik ihlaller, akademik güvenilirliği zedeler, bilim camiasındaki güveni sarsar ve bilimsel bilginin ilerlemesini engeller.

2. İntihal Taraması

Histosophia’ya gönderilen tüm makaleler, akademik yayıncılıkta yaygın olarak kullanılan ve uluslararası düzeyde kabul gören bir intihal tespit yazılımı olan iThenticate kullanılarak taranmaktadır. iThenticate; metinsel benzerlikleri, atıfsız alıntıları ve daha önce yayımlanmış içeriklerin uygunsuz kullanımını tespit eder.

İntihal taraması, makaleler hakem değerlendirme sürecine alınmadan önce standart ve rutin bir uygulama olarak gerçekleştirilir.

3. Benzerlik Raporlarının Değerlendirilmesi

  • iThenticate tarafından oluşturulan benzerlik raporları bağlamsal olarak değerlendirilir; meşru alıntılar, kaynakça, atıflar ve yöntemsel örtüşmeler dikkate alınır.

  • Genel bir kılavuz olarak, bir makaledeki toplam benzerlik oranının %20’yi aşmaması beklenir.

  • Benzerlik oranları tek başına intihal anlamına gelmez; editoryal değerlendirme, benzerliğin niteliği, yeri ve amacı dikkate alınarak yapılır.

4. Editoryal Süreç

Gönderim Aşaması: Makaleler dergi sistemine yüklendikten sonra iThenticate kullanılarak taranır.

Düzeltme Aşaması: Düzeltme gerektiren benzerlikler tespit edilirse, benzerlik raporu yazar(lar) ile paylaşılır ve gerekli revizyonlar talep edilir.

Yeniden Tarama: Revize edilen makaleler, etik standartlara uygunluğun sağlanması amacıyla yeniden değerlendirilir.

Reddetme: Aşırı benzerlik, atıfsız alıntı veya etik dışı içerik barındıran çalışmalar, hakem değerlendirme sürecine alınmaksızın reddedilir.

5. Yazarların Sorumlulukları

Histosophia’ya makale gönderen yazarlar aşağıdaki hususları kabul etmiş sayılır:

  • Çalışmanın özgün olduğu ve daha önce başka bir yerde yayımlanmadığı;

  • Kullanılan tüm kaynakların, alıntıların ve aktarılan materyallerin uygun biçimde atıf yapılarak belirtildiği;

  • Herhangi bir veri uydurma, çarpıtma veya manipülasyon yapılmadığı;

  • Makalenin başka bir dergide değerlendirme sürecinde olmadığı.

6. Hakem ve Editörlerin Sorumlulukları

Hakemler, değerlendirdikleri makalelerin özgünlüğünü incelemek ve intihal şüphesi taşıyan durumları editörlere bildirmekle yükümlüdür.

Editörler, intihal taramasının dergi politikalarına uygun biçimde yürütülmesini sağlamak ve tüm vakaları adil, şeffaf ve tutarlı bir şekilde ele almakla sorumludur.

7. İntihal Durumunda Uygulanacak Yaptırımlar

  • Düşük Düzeyli Benzerlik: Yazar(lar)dan makaleyi revize etmeleri talep edilir.

  • Tekrarlanan veya Ciddi İntihal: Makale reddedilir ve yazar(lar) resmî olarak bilgilendirilir.

  • Ağır veya Kasıtlı Etik İhlal: Dergi, yazar(lar)ın gelecekte yapacağı başvuruları kabul etmeme hakkını saklı tutar.

Histosophia Dergisi, uluslararası kabul görmüş yayın etiği standartlarına bağlıdır ve intihal politikasını bilimsel kayıtların bütünlüğünü, güvenilirliğini ve saygınlığını korumak amacıyla titizlikle uygular.
